An excellent and friendly photographer who showed dedication and willingness to arrive a day early to view the locations, ask about preferred styles and take shots of the preparation stages. The latter was most welcome, as it allowed us to relive the parts we didn't have time to enjoy properly.
Meeting (several times) before the wedding seemed to be no trouble at all, despite the fact that he was organizing his own marriage in parallel.
Energetic and enthusiastic, yet not obtrusive or demanding, Matt was an asset and an enjoyable addition to the wedding, even lending a hand when things got too hectic...
Brilliant photos and an wonderful service throughout. Far less expensive than I felt the service should have been.

We were completely satisfied with Matthew Embury Wedding photography. From the first meeting viewing samples to the finished product, Matthew offered a cheery relaxed but empathic service . He has a real knack for a more personal photograph, catching those details and nuances on the day, as well as providing the usual expected portraits. He has a love of wedding photography which comes across as a genuine enthusiasm. This seemed to relax people and therefore produced better pictures than the usual experience of some formal person doing the bored clicking thing. Don't be fooled by his mild manner - he also has a knack for firm crowd control when needed, even managing to get our rabble lot into line-ups. We had a range of languages, cultures and nationalities (as well as weather!) and he wasn't fazed at all. The pricing structure is very easy to understand and his website sets this out so you know what you are getting. This seems a simple thing but it is surprising how many wedding photography websites do not do this. Any extras can be discussed and these were also very fairly priced. Do get the albums. We found that even though these are not the usual format of tissue paper and prints, they are a more enjoyable visual memory of the day. We ordered extra albums for the 'mums' and these made excellent post wedding thankyou presents.
