Matthew Embury Wedding Photography

Congratulations!

You're getting married!

It will be one of the most fantastic days of your life. As a wedding photographer, it is a privilege to share such a special day with you and I hope to be able to provide you with memories that will last forever.

About me:

Who is this person that wants to take our wedding photographs? I am 32 and live on a smallholding in Monmouthshire with my new wife Rachel. So far we have chickens and ducks, which provide us with lovely free-range eggs, and a flock of rare breed Soay sheep who are helping us to manage the woods and fields in a sustainable way. When I am not photographing weddings I spend my time digging in our veg patch, caring for the animals and trying to become as self sufficient as possible.

I married Rachel in September 2012 and it was one of the best days of my life. We were fortunate to have a photographer friend to take our wedding photographs. Even so that day gave me a new found appreciation about what is needed from a wedding photographer. To sum up I would say it’s someone to photograph expertly from the sidelines, someone whom can intermingle with your guests and not stick out like a sore thumb, someone like me..

People ask me if I find it stressful photographing those group shots? In a word “No” I love being part of the whole day.

I specialize in blending traditional photography with a contemporary twist that truly captures the story of your wedding day.

I work with a relaxed and fun approach and discretely record your wedding exactly as you wish, leaving you to enjoy the celebrations.
